How does the 10-free-jobs trial work?
Once you register Interpretty grants you 10 free jobs to arrange a real job with your private client or just to try out how does the interpreting system work. You can invite your friends to join Interpretty as your private clients to test Interpretty services. It is all free, Interpretty does not charge you anything.
What is the difference between marketplace jobs and private job?
Marketplace jobs are the jobs published by the clients in Interpretty. These jobs are public, so that all interpreters can see the jobs and make an offer. The client will then receive the offers and choose an interpreter. Payments are made through Interpretty’s FairPay procedure. Interpretty charges a 15% commission of the agreed price to the Interpreters. PREMIUM members don’t pay commissions.

Private jobs are the jobs published by the clients in the Interpreter’s private portal. The PREMIUM members of Interpretty can publish a private portal and invite their own clients to publish a job (FREE members receive 10 jobs private jobs to try the service). All the job published in this private portal will only be available to this Interpreter. Interpretty does not charge any commission.

A FREE member can always invite a client to use the marketplace.
Can the clients consult the list of interpreters?
Interpretty’s marketplace is not a directory of interpreters and their fare. A client who publishes a job in the marketplace receives offers from the interpreters. The transaction remains private between the client and the interpreter so that the interpreters do not directly compete on price only. The client can choose the best offer and the best interpreter based on his fare for this job but a also on his motivation, knowledge and experience.
How do I answer a job?
When you are logged as an Interpreter, you can easily make offers to the market place and private jobs. Just open the job offer table and select a job you want to present an offer. You can see from the table the languages, date and time, duration, status, clients name of this job. You can also open the job detail to more details of the job.
How do I get paid by the client?
All jobs of the marketplace are paid using Interpretty‘s FairPay procedure. This procedure is as follows:

- When the client has chosen an interpreter, he will have to deposit immediately or at least 72 hours before the interpretation the payment for the interpreter to Interpretty’s account. Price must include Tax / VAT (if needed). The client and the interpreter will both know at any time the status of the payment "not yet deposited" or "deposited". The payment can be made by using payment card (debit or credit) or via using a PayPal account.

- If the client is satisfied when the job is done, the payment will be release from the Interpretty’s account to the interpreter. The interpreter will invoice the client. Interpretty is not responsible for issuing the invoice.

- If the client is not satisfied when the job is done, he will have 24 hours to open an issue. The deposited amount will then be withheld by Interpretty until the issue is solved. Complete or partial devolution are possible and negotiated by the client and the interpreter with Interpretty’s supervision if required.
When do I get paid?
Interpretty will transfer the deposited amount by every 15th of the next calender month of all jobs done (jobs done and jobs with resolved issues) in previous calender month. (e.g. payment for interpretation done on 28th of May will arrive by 15th of June, and payment for interpretation done on 2nd of June will arrive by 15th of July ).

Also, for every job done, Interpretty will send an invoice to interpreter. Such invoice will include clearly stated deduction of 15 % Interpretty fee (15% for the Free account and 0% for the PREMIUM account), VAT and PayPal payments costs. We need the Interpreter to create a Paypal account for the transfer.
Can the client cancel a job he has planned?
Yes, the client may cancel a job anytime. The cancellation is governed by the following rules:

- If the job is cancelled in less than 24 hours before the start of interpreting, you receive 100% of the payment.

- If the job is cancelled in between 72 and 24 hours before the start of interpreting, you receive 50% of the payment.
